Some VERY exciting news for WTJ-A. With some help from some very beautiful ladies who will be helping out due to time constraints, we now have two support groups running on facebook in conjunction with the website.



The first is a website for parents who need a place to talk and ask advice and possibly give some when they themselves feel comfortable.This is a group for both women and men!

The second group is for siblings of those with ASD in the family. This is NOT a group for adults to join in, it's for those in their teens who need to talk. Life can be pretty tough at times for siblings, this group is a safe place for them to get together and talk as freely as they wish about their lives. For the sibling considering this group you should know.... the group is YOUR group. Yes there will be monitoring by adults, HOWEVER!!!! Monitoring will only be taking place in the form of watching for bullying and inappropriate material. Yes we know there's going to be swearing... just remember, it doesn't make you look any smarter, and not using will probably make your voice heard louder. It may take some time for you to feel comfortable with talking and that's ok! In time, hopefully, the group will feel like a second home for many (as it becomes known) and you'll join in.
