Recommended Therapists

You'll notice that the heading of this page is Recommended Therapists. There's a very good reason for that.  The names of the therapists on this page are those named by the parents in my support group (and yes there are some they don't recommend though you won't find them listed on this site!). These names are ones you can trust and you'll know that you are going to be able to get the help you need from those listed.  As a personal note... the first name listed for Armidale is an EI group who have their own consortium of therapists attached to them (they're also available for use with the FaHCSIA funding)... this group is in my opinion (and that of my husband!!) absolutely AMAZING! The Rhonda (Barnet) I mention in my dedication is the Director/Teacher and I can tell you here and now... no rubbish or frills will be given, if you want answers you'll get them, you want honesty, you'll get it and even better.... your head will clear up in ways you never imagined... you WILL get support from this group... amazing support! We've spent such a small amount of time with these ladies in comparison to the rest of our son's life and I can tell you right here, right now... I wouldn't give up one little second of it! Be prepared to do your 'homework' (as I mentioned in previously regarding therapy, a therapist is with your child for such a short time but you're with them daily) and you will see the most amazing changes start to occur, no miracles... hard work pays off and this group will give you the tools to reap the rewards!
